GoFundMe Campaign Complete

The GoFundMe campaign is complete and we are entering the next development phase. Thank you to everyone who donated! If you are still interested in making a donation or sponsoring a specific page, you can email us at info@cephref.org.

We are now working to create the interactive index that will let users navigate directly to any of the ~1300 taxon pages (~850 species and ~350 higher groups). In the meantime, volunteers have started to migrate information from the Tree of Life pages to CephRef, and new content is being built for taxa that didn't have populated pages on ToL.

A sample species page has been added for the colossal squid, Mesonychoteuthis hamiltoni.

Demo Site Launch

The CephRef demo site is live and sample taxon pages have been built for the giant squid Architeuthis dux, the genus Liocranchia, and the family Enoploteuthidae.

We are now running a crowdfunding campaign on GoFundMe to support the next development steps (building the remaining taxon pages and migrating information over from the Tree of Life pages).
